G&G's Vitamin B3 is pure nicotinamide. G&G have made this supplement available as an alternative to B3 Niacin which can cause a prickly flush not desired by everyone. 

Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) is the amide derivative of niacin. Niacin is converted to nicotinamide when ingested in amounts that do not exceed the body's physiological requirements. The effects of both nicotinamide and niacin are almost indistinguishable.

Nicotinamide is rapidly absorbed from the GI tract and, although it is still a water-soluble vitamin, can be stored in the liver as the coenzyme NAD (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide)

Vitamin B3 contributes to a healthy diet in many ways. This includes reducing tiredness and fatigue, maintaining healthy skin and mucous membranes. Additionally, Vitamin B3 supports normal energy-yielding metabolism, the normal functioning of the nervous system, and psychological functions.
